I don’t know why it’s called the 2009 Tranny Awards since it happened last week, but oh well. Anyway, I had a great time, got a little hammered. Grooby Steven won’t let me hear the end of it. LOL. But it was all good fun. I put some photos of the festivities here on the blog. I’m gonna do a site update within the next week with lots more photos – too many to fit in here.

Here are some of the pics taken at Rage on my birthday night. Hostess Aubrey got a nice birthday cake for me. I did blow out all the candles. Hopefully my wish will come true.

There is a new Monday night transgender club at Rage in West Hollywood. Feb 8 was the first night. The hostess is Aubrey Brianna. She is a real sweetheart. Someone let her know it was my birthday that night. So at the end of the show she called me up on stage and asked if she could celebrate my birthday next week. So we will this Monday, Feb 15. I don’t know what she has planned, but there will be pretty girls so it’s all good.

All that aside, there was a good group of people there last week, it’s a good venue, street parking is fairly easy on a Monday night and there is a public lot across the street behind the Southwest corner of Santa Monica and San Vicente. The club address is 8911 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA Northwest corner of Santa Monica and San Vicente. Below are some photos from last week. I’ll see you there.

Last Saturday, I took Jessica Fox to Circus Disco. One the first Saturday night of each month the club is split into two. One is Fetish Nation, which is the reason we went. The other is a good dance club which is there every Saturday. We saw some good sites at Fetish Nation. But there were some hula hoop performers at the dance club. The two girls doing it were very good. Jessica had some fun with that too.

I had a small gathering for the Superbowl this year. As you know, I’ve been on the mend, so I wasn’t up for a big party. We had an unexpected treat. My pal Kristin Kyle (New Orleans native) called and said she was coming over to cook Gumbo. I’ll tell you Kristen looked so hot in my kitchen and cooked up the best gumbo I’ve ever had.:)

It turned out that everyone here was rooting for the Saints, so everyone was happy here. After the game, we watched Pink’s Funhouse in Australia concert. I figured it would be something cool for the girls after sitting through football. After watching her show, I became much more of a fan than I was before. She is awesome. Then us die hards played guitar hero until about  3:30 AM

That surgery kept me home for 2 weeks. I’m in the third week of recovery now. I finally got out of the house a few times, but still have a little way to go before I’m fully back to normal.

Hi All,

I had a surgery on Thursday. Recovery has been pretty unpleasant so far, but I’m hangin in there. I’ll be layin low for a while, but I have site updates all set for the next week plus so there won’t be any interruption for the members. Wish me luck.

Happy New Year everyone. I spent the evening at Club Cobra. Besides the usual crowd there were some distinguished visitors such as the lovely Jennifer Paris, our models: Debra, Alicia, Yasmin Lee, Tyra, Morgan Bailey, Olivia Love, Sasha, Alissa, Valerie Palacios, Devany Lopez, Julissa, Hazel Tucker amongst others. We had fun. I took some pics. Here’s a few below.

On Sunday, my friends Rael and Scott had a joint birthday gathering. Our first stop was the Cat and Fiddle in Hollywood where we all ate and had some drinks. Afterward we went to the Dragonfly to see the Spazmatics. They are an 80’s coverband. They cover  pop, new wave and rock. Their thing is they dress up like dorks – hence the name Spazmatics. I’ve gone to see them over a dozen times and always have fun. Some of the friends that came with us thought it would suck when they first saw the band. After seeing and hearing them play for just one song, that went away.

There are two things that typically occur during a Spazmatics show. One is there will eventually be a bunch of hot young women dancing on stage. The other is that the lead singer (Kevin) will at some point take a girl’s shoes off and start sucking her toes. The tgirls in our group included Kristin Kyle, Yasmin Lee, Sasha, Valerie Palacios and a few others you may have seen in some of my party photo features. I knew that at some point Sasha would be one of those girls on stage and I knew that she would be the one getting her toes sucked. I was of course right on both accounts. In fact, all the girls I mentioned above were eventually on stage. But Sasha was the first one and I watched the way Kevin reacted to her and probably knew what was coming before he did. The photos below (courtesy of Scott) tell the rest of the story.

I’m having a blast so far this weekend. I started by doing 2 photoshoots on Saturday afternoon – more on that in another post. My buddy Rael and I had been planning to see the Chelsea Girls this weekend. They play periodically at the Roxy in Hollywood.

Foxxy is in town, so I invited her to join us. Rael had a date so we doubled. We went to the Rainbow Room first for some Pizza and drinks.

When we arrived at the Roxy there was another girl band playing – The Darling Stilettos. They are a classic rock cover band. To quote Punky Stiletto “live we are loud, sexy and sweaty”. They definately were all those things. Foxxy and I loved them. Next were the Chelsea Girls. This is my second time seeing them. This is a true all girl rock band. They cover 80s rock bands such as Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Quiet Riot, Metallica, The Cult, Pat Benetar and others. I can’t think of all the bands they cover right now. If you like that genre of music and they play in your town, you really should give yourself a treat and go see these bands. I provided links to their web pages.

There were some celebs in the house starting with hostess Carmen Electra. The Chelsea Girls had some notable guest players. First Daisy de la Hoya joined Tuesdae in singing Pat Benetar’s Heartbreaker. That’s a photo of Daisy with Foxxy below. Then Dave Navarro joined the girls for a song; I’m sorry I don’t remember which one. Later they played Fire Woman by the Cult. Guess who played with them. Billy Duffy, The Cult’s original lead guitarist and songwriter and Matt Sorum, a later drummer for the Cult played with the girls on Fire Woman. It was so cool. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Foxxy enjoyed it so much that she plans to return to LA for their December 19 show. To see a group of kick-ass girls belt out some of my favorite rock and roll tunes is a great pleasure for me. I am now a fan of both these bands.

After all that Foxxy wanted to stop by the “Here” bar in West Hollywood because a friend was go go dancing there. And that was my Saturday evening. It was awesome.
